It is a great pleasure when a satisfied client returns and wants their projects upgraded. Meher Najeeb approached us to design her salon at Zamzama in 2003, and in 2018 she contacted us again for an upgrade. Re-inventing a familiar space has great charm for an architect. For this salon the architect explored the idea of hair color/styling as an art. This translated to using easels to place full length mirrors, giving the salon the ambience of an artist’s studio. Lighting was also carefully selected as that impacts the final result of hair color and makeup. Being a luxury salon we took care to reflect that in the finesse of the details, the polished concrete and glossy finishes. Visitors appreciate the makeover as they enter their familiar salon while bring impressed by Mehers artistic vision.
